How To upgrade without downgrading your Windows Phone
So many web Stats showing that users having Windows phone are now registered for Developer Preview.
This developer preview provides the latest software updates from Microsoft and nothing from Original Manufacturers. So this software provides only software updates and not Firmware.
Now users using developers preview brought a new problem,like ,it wont allow you to download OE M's Firmware Update Air to Air. if you want to download over air you must downgrade your windows phone.

If your Phone is on the list then You are Lucky. and You no need to Down Grade either, if you are using Developers preview .All you have to do is to download Nokia Recovery Tool v. 1.4.3 from Nokia support page. and install it.

Steps to upgrade by using Nokia Recovery tool :
- Connect your mobile to your Nokia Recovery Tool
- Let the software to be initialized.
NSR Tool - It will detect automatically and show what is the Firmware you are using and What firmware available from your Manufacturer.
Downloading Firmware - Depending up on your network connection the download will take 30 to 60 min. You can watch what time left to complete the download process on the screen. This is the actual time to be taken to download.
- Now you phone will be restarted and installed new firmware.
This is the process better than downgrading your phone and messing up for the update over Air to Air. such a waste of time to degrade and update.
So as soon as finishing your installation you will be asked formalities and you should give them.
Now you can install Developers preview and could check for new software Update if you want.
